About

This space offers transformation and healing.

Things will fall apart at some point in our lives because a current situation or something experienced in the past catches up with us. During those times, we come to a crossroad where we can either – allow ourselves to continue along the path stunting our growth or courageously go through the messy healing process.

My therapy and what I’ve learned and continue to learn as a therapist have entirely transformed my life. I would argue that there is nothing more valuable than doing deep interior work that changes our lives for the better. This belief is why I’m so passionate about this work and love what I do. That is one of the first and most important things I want you to know about me.

It takes courage to sit across from another person while sharing your vulnerabilities, struggles, anger, pain, joy, confusion, sorrows, and successes. I consider it a privilege and honor when someone allows me to be a part of and bear witness to their process.

Together, you and I create a sacred space that will enable you to show up as your authentic self without judgment or criticism. There is only understanding, compassion, authenticity, and genuineness in this space – and even sometimes laughter.

Your story is essential to me.

Part of my job is to learn and know your story, understand your perspective, and gain insight into problems and obstacles interfering with your personal growth. I want to help guide you always with your best interest at heart.

My goal as your therapist is to explore the roots of your distress and reduce it by helping you see yourself, your environment, and your relationships with increasing clarity. I challenge my clients to open themselves up to change and personal growth by raising their awareness of their thought processes, patterns of functioning, and relationships with others.

I see my role as your guide and a follower in your meaningful and progressive journey to promote change. Connection, peaceful silence, laughter, and resilience are valuable pieces of this process. I listen closely and empathetically, but I do not stay silent if I feel that I can offer perspective, ideas, or a prompt to help you shift from, or better cope with, the uncomfortable.

My goal is to welcome all my clients into the challenging and beautiful work of self-discovery and growth through warmth, humor, and gentle guidance.

About Me

My professional background…

In 2017, I received my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology/Marriage and Family Therapy from John F. Kennedy University, and I am licensed to practice marriage and family therapy in California.

I have experience in psychotherapy and counseling and have provided support for clients ranging from children to adults. I also have training in treating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression.

Through Community Mental Health, I gained experience working with children and families in the foster system and worked with various ages of youth, teens, and adults. Currently, I am a EMDR Certified therapist who helps women struggling with loneliness discover they DO have the power to create an empowering life. You’re not alone in this journey, and it’s time to reclaim your joy and confidence.

I value…

…my time with loved ones, enjoy continuing my education, and traveling and learning about different cultures. I also enjoy creating delicious meals, artistic expression, deep conversations, tarot with friends, hiking with my lil’ fur baby, swimming, music, dancing, being a plant mom, and working out to release my stressors and emotions.

I also value and appreciate you for taking the time to learn more about me, and I look forward to connecting with you to see if we would be a good fit and answer any questions you may have.

I am genuinely excited to support you on your journey as you work toward your goals to regain the balance and empowerment in your approach to the life you truly deserve.
